Since its founding in 1963 Sydfanér has continually expanded its position in the veneer market. Today the Swedish company is Scandinavia’s largest importer of veneer. We work together with the largest veneer manufacturers in Europe and North and South America. As part of Danzer Group Sydfanér also has access to the resources of the global group, which is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of hardwood veneer. Seventy Sydfanér and Danzer Group purchasing agents are constantly on the lookout worldwide for the best woods for our customers.

Amongst others Sydfanér is directly involved in the production process at international Danzer locations (six veneer factories in Europe, North America and Africa). Modern production technologies ensure the consistent thickness and uniform color of all veneers. For our customers this extensive network first of all means reliability. The expertise and extensive experience of our employees coupled with state-of-the-art technologies provide our customers with the constant availability of the qualities, species and quantities that they require.

Over 160 species available

Customer satisfaction is of utmost importance to us. We supply manufacturers of furniture, kitchens, doors and panels as well as interior decorators. Most of them have been our loyal customers for many years. The experienced members of our sales team work together with customers as competent partners. Sydfanér is capable of delivering over 160 different veneer species – from standard species to specialties – in short time.
 
We specialize in veneer made of North American wood species, mainly walnut, beech, cherry, ash, maple, birch and oak. As a rule we maintain an inventory of at least 250.000 m² of veneer. Sydfanér can also deliver specialties such as wenge, zebrano, mahogany, larch and pearwood at any time. Incoming orders are carefully and accurately graded by our qualified warehouse staff. Together with our exemplary logistics capabilities, Sydfanér is able to provide customers with a wide range of services tailored to their specific needs.
